In 1990, the André Jordan Group acquired the lands that would become the Belas Country Club. The road planning of the Lisbon Region places this area of great landscaped and environmental value in an axis that connects the Lisbon city centre, Cascais and Sintra, with straight access to the connecting roads to the North of the country and Portela Airport.

At Belas, the challenge was to create a low density residential community, with touristic characteristics, maintaining large green spaces with no constructions, and implementing a championship type golf course. The quality of the master plan, internationally acknowledged, was proven by the success of the first phase, having currently 660 resident families, in apartment buildings (up to 4 storeys high), houses and town houses.

A wide range of facilities and services attend to the residents: the Clubinho, for the youngest, the Leisure Club, a Health Club, several places to eat and shop, the Club House, Laundry, Family Doctor and an exclusive transportation system, free for the internal routes and of low cost for the connexion to the nearest subway station.

The construction of an international five star hotel, an international private school and other investments still in the project phase, will complement, in a nearby future, the high standards of the quality of life offered to the residents.

The André Jordan Group has signed in 2020 a partnership with fund manager Oaktree Capital Management. Oaktree, one of the largest alternative investment management companies in the world, will help finance the latest development phase of premier and exclusive luxury golf and lifestyle community Belas Clube de Campo, near Lisbon. This operation, which foresees an investment of over €500 million, is part of the development’s growth strategy for its latest phase comprising apartments, townhouses and plots of building land for detached houses within a project totalling 1,400 units.
