Born in 1961 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Gilberto Frederico Von Liechtenstein Jordan has a degree in Economics from the University of Lisbon (ISEG). He is currently the CEO of the André Jordan Group which was responsible for the development of the renowned 700-hectare Quinta do Lago resort and the redevelopment of Vilamoura. The  Group is also the developer of the 500 hectare Belas Clube de Campo in Sintra, Lisbon, among others. Between 1990 and 1996, Gilberto Jordan worked for Banco Comercial Português, the Portuguese largest private bank, as Manager in Corporate Banking in the International & Capital Markets Division.

Gilberto Jordan sits on the board of several companies, associations and foundations, including Selecta SGFII, a real estate fund and asset management company with €700 million assets under management. Chairman of ULI Portugal, and founding co-chairman of the Urban Land Institute Europe Resort Development Council, from 2004 to 2006 Gilberto Jordan served on the Organizing Committee of the Lisbon Property Fair & Conference, serving as its president in 2006.

He is also a Fellow of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and Vice President of APPII (Portuguese Association of Real Estate Investors). He is member of the International Advisory Council of Fundación Metrópoli, Madrid. He was board director of Green Globe, founding partner and board director of Areal (Algarve Regional Environmental and Energy Agency), founder and director of CENA (Centre for Environmental and Nature Studies, Vilamoura).

Gilberto Jordan is a frequent speaker in Universities and international conferences. Holding the Liechtenstein, Portuguese and Brazilian citizenships, Gilberto Jordan is married, with four children.
